Tips & Tricks: Downloading Your eBooks

It is common for businesses to put a “maximum download limit” on their digital products to protect their intellectual property and reduce the chance of unauthorized circulation of their products to third parties.

On a computer, clicking these links will result in a forced (instant) download in most cases.

All Corporate Sneakers eBooks have a maximum download limit of five downloads. This information is noted in the confirmation email you will receive (pictured). Each click of a link counts as a download. After the link is clicked, it is your responsibility to save your purchases to your devices. I recommend downloading your eBooks first on a computer, as wifi and data are not always reliable on your smart phone.

Note that the My Best Body Training Program eBook is much larger than the Resource Guide and Macro-Counting Guide and will take a little longer (but not much longer) to download.

You will receive your products in two ways: instantly following your transaction on the confirmation page and shortly after via email. Clicking the links in both places will contribute to the maximum of five.

HOW TO PROPERLY DOWNLOAD AND SAVE YOUR EBOOKS – COMPUTER

In most cases on your computer*, clicking the links on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email will result in a forced download, meaning the download will happen instantly. You will then be able to locate your eBooks in your “Downloads” folder. I recommend first downloading your eBooks to your computer because you will be able to email the eBooks to your smart phone from your computer should your mobile download not work.

HOW TO PROPERLY DOWNLOAD AND SAVE YOUR EBOOKS – SMART PHONE (IPHONE)

Clicking a download link on your iPhone will open the eBook in Safari. You must manually save the eBook to iBooks using the prompt in the top right corner.

Downloading the eBooks directly to your smart phone is also an easy option via the confirmation page on my website or the email.

It is important to note that when you click these links on your iPhone, the result is NOT an instant download. The eBooks will open in Safari, your iPhone web browser. Remember: Each time you click the links, it counts as a download.

You must manually save the eBooks to iBooks, Adobe Acrobat or another PDF viewing app in order to save your purchases to your iPhone for later reference. Simply opening them by clicking on the link in the email will not save the eBooks to your iPhone.

After clicking “Open in ‘iBooks,'” do not close the Safari app. Instead, return to your home screen, while leaving Safari running. Open iBooks and make sure you see your eBooks saved there. Once they are in your iBooks app, you’ve successfully saved your purchases!

I do not have experience with Android phones, but imagine the process is very similar.

“I CLICKED MY LINKS TOO MANY TIMES BEFORE SAVING. HOW DO I RETRIEVE MY PURCHASES?”

Failure to successfully save your eBooks after five attempts will result in a wait time of minimum 3-7 business days. In order to start the retrieval process, you must send me an email with your order details and a screenshot of the error you are receiving.
